Solid fighting game at its core. Amazing 2d fighting games that have mechanics and stuff from stuff like 3rd Strike, KoF, and other classic fighting games. Yatagarasu thrives on single player experience. Game itself is nice, roster is interesting and fighting mechanics are original, interface on the other side is horrendous, every configuration process on this game is a complete torture and network interface is a special hell. The characters each play differently even though some share similar moves such as Hina and Shimo. Nice animations, even with the pixel design choices. Its a fighting game that works.
My favorite fighting game of the past generation. If you like honest, deep, and stylish fighting games, dont pass this up. If youre looking for a solid traditional fighter that keeps it simple with no gimmicky mechanics and stuff then you might like Yatagarasu. I would definitely recommend the game.
