Samsung may use LG batteries for their Galaxy s8
There is a claim that, the explosion of Samsungs Note 7 phone is due to a fault from its batteries. So they decided to lay of their Their SDI department. After recalling the Note 7 they decided to make Amperex Technology Limited their mamufacturer, But the problem persisted so they decided to stop the production of its Samsung galaxy Note7. A report from THE KOREAN HERALD suggest that samsung may use batteries from its Korean competitor LG .Speculation of a merger with LG Chem, LGs producer of lithium-ion batteries, could be an attempt from Samsung to secure its future flagshipfrom such problems. Samsung is yet toconfirm the cause of the Galaxy Note 7s explosion problem but its widely believed to be a battery issue. If samsung goes ahead to partner with LG Chem for the production of their batteries, then they will be making clear to us the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 explosion
